Gadi Shechter, director, was born in Israel. He was a producer of military bands during his military service in the Education Corps. He served as chief showman in the production of Carmen (Bize) at the National Opera of Greece at the foot of the Acropolis. As an actor, he appeared in Oz Lee Gotz Lee at the Cameri Theater and as Ivan in The Bat at the Israeli Opera. During his work at the Israeli Opera, he worked with many directors, including Franco Zeffirelli, David Olden, Christopher Olden, David Fontane, Hugo de Anna and Rina Yerushalmi.
