Noa Danon, soprano, was born in Israel. She is a graduate of the Opera Studio of the Israeli Opera. She won a scholarship from the Sr. Since the 2009/10 season she has been a member of the Magdeburg Opera’s soloist ensemble where she has performed many roles including Sieglinde in Die Walküre (Wagner), the title role in Katya Kabanova (Janacek), the title role in Vanessa (Barber), Marietta in Die stadt der mur (Korngold), Chrysothemis in Electra (R. Strauss), Antonia in Les Contes d’Hoffmann (Offenbach), Donna Clara in Der Gnome (Zemlinsky), Elisabeth in Maria Stewardess (Donizetti), Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss), Agatha in Die Fledermaus (Weber), the Nanny in The Ring of Strangulation (Brittany), the Countess in Die Nachrichten (The Marriage of Figaro ), Fiordiligi in Die Alle Ange , Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Michaela inCarmen (Bizet), Venus in Orfeo in Sauro (Offenbach), Elisabeth in Don Carlo (Verdi), the title role in Madame Butterfly , Mimi in La Bohème (Puccini) and more.
