Gergely Boncser, tenor, was born in Hungary. He has performed as an opera singer with the Hungarian State Opera in productions of Mefistofele (Boito), Der Rosenkavalier (R. Strauss), Yevgeny Onegin (Tchaikovsky) and many other operas, as an actor in the role of Simon in The Caucasian Chalk Circle and in many operetta productions. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
