Celso Albelo was born in Spain. His operatic repertoire includes the Duke in Rigoletto (Verdi), Ernesto in Don Pasquale (Donizetti), Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi (Puccini), Fenton in Falstaff (Verdi), Nadir in Les Pecheurs de Perles (Bizet), Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Ferrando in Cosi fan tutte (Mozart), Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore (Donizetti), Gerald in Lakme (Delibes), Elvino in La Sonnambula (Bellini), Arturo in I Puritani (Bellini), Carlo in Linda de Chamounix (Donizetti) and many other roles. He performs regularly in the opera houses on Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, the USA as well as Zurich, Genoa, Tokyo, Baden Baden, Cagliari, Trieste, Bologna, Palermo, Hamburg and many others.
