האופרה הישראלית, כמו בתי אופרה רבים ברחבי העולם,

מזוהה עם שירה אדירה, הופעות ענק, משתתפים רבים על

הבמה, תפאורות נפלאות, אולם מפואר ואנשים לבושים

במיטב מחלצותיהם בקהל. ובכן, האופרה אמנם מתהדרת

במופעים גדולים מהחיים, אבל לא רק.

האופרה הישראלית גאה במיוחד גם בעבודת השטח שלה,

בגובההעיניים, מתחת לכיפתהשמיים ובגודל החייםעצמם.

זו עבודה יסודית ומעמיקההמתנהלת בגני ילדים ובבתי ספר,

בקהילותשונות ברחבי הארץ, בסיוריםמאחורי הקלעים ועם

ילדיםהחל בגיל הרך. זו פעילותשמתקיימת לאורך כל השנה.

Like many international opera houses, the Israeli

Opera is known for great world class singing,

incredible performances, scores of performers on

the stage, larger than life sets, a state of the art

auditorium, and audience members dressed in their

finest apparel.While it is true that the Israeli Opera

takes pride in extraordinary productions, there is a

lot more to us than just that.

The Israeli Opera is particularly proud of its

outreach, education and community activities all

over Israel: in the streets, in the markets, in schools

andkindergardens and inopenair festivals, all aimed

at spreading the love of opera as wide as possible.

These intensive, imaginative and widespread

activities take place all year long all over the

country featuring numerous programs aimed at as

varied audiences as possible.
