Meitar Opera Studio
The Meitar Opera Studio is the Israeli Opera's Young Artist Program. During a period of two intensive
years, eight singers, chosen after a long audition process, are involved in theoretical and practical opera
studies. The goal of the Meitar Opera Studio is to foster the next generation of Israeli opera stars. The
monthly scholarship studio singers receive, enables them to give all their time to honing their craft and
improving their skills. Opera Studio alumni perform small and major roles in Israeli Opera productions as
well as in leading international opera houses.
