Warsaw – Musical Memories
A special evening commemorating the 76th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising.
Songs and instrumental music by Weinberg (Children songs, Gypsy Bible), Viktor Ullman (Yiddish songs), Shostakovich (From Jewish Folk Poetry), Preisner (a song written by the boy Abraham Koplowicz in Auschwitz) and Ravel (Hebraic Melodies)
Excerpts from the diaries of musicians who lived and died in Auschwitz
