The Bumblebee’s Flight
The childhood story of Nikolai Rimsky Korsakov
At the age of three, Rimsky Korsakov began to beat a toy drum. At the age of nine, he started composing music without any real knowledge of the profession. He adored his family members who were naval officers and for years swayed between his love for the sea and for music. Luckily the music won and the Flight of the Bumblebee and Scheherazade were born. A program with singers, musicians and dancers featuring dances, songs and sweeping music works.
