    Was born in Russia. She was a member of the Jette Parker Young Artists Program of the Royal Opera House Covent Garden. Her wide operatic repertoire includes Rachel in La Juive (Halevy), Donna Anna in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Natasha in War and Peace (Prokofiev), Elisabeth in Don Carlo (Verdi), Tatiana in Yevgeni Onegin (Tchaikovsky), the third Norn in Gotterdammerung (Wagner), Desdemona in Otello (Verdi), Violetta in La traviata (Verdi), Marguerite in Faust (Gounod), Liu in Turandot (Puccini), Elettra in Idomeneo (Mozart), Vitellia in La clemenza di Tito (Mozart), the title role in Anna Bolena (Donizetti) and Maria Stuarda (Donizetti), Lucrezia in I due Foscari (Verdi), Elena in I vespri Sicialiani (Verdi) and the title role in Luisa Miller (Verdi). She performs regularly at the Royal opera House Covent Garden, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Salzburg Festival and the opera houses of Avignon, Valencia, Rome, Brussels, Berlin, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Seoul, Paris, Moscow, and many others.
