Yuri Kissin, bass-baritone, was born in Russia. His repertoire includes Truffaldino in Ariadne auf Naxos (R. Strauss), Bartolo and Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro, Der Sprecher in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), Sacristan in Tosca (Puccini) and other roles. He performs at the opera houses of Paris, Montpellier, Bordeaux, Limoges, Nancy, Nice, Lyon, Metz, Perm, Madrid, Maribor, Amsterdam, Monte Carlo, Copenhagen and others.
