Daniel Boaz, baritone
Boaz Daniel was born in Israel. Since September 1998 he had been an ensemble member of the Vienna Staatsoper where his repertoire included Posa in Don Carlo, Ford in Falstaff, Paolo in Simon Boccanegra, (Verdi), Kurwenal in Tristan und Isolde, Gunther in Gotterdammerung (Wagner), Marcello in La boheme, Sharpless in Madama Butterfly, Lescaut in Manon Lescaut (Puccini), Valentin in Faust (Gounod), Yeletsky in Pique Dame (Tchaikovsky), the Count in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Belcore in L'elisir d'amore, Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti) and other roles. Other roles in his repertoire include the title role in Don Giovanni at (Mozart), Ping in Turandot (Puccini), Renato in Un ballo in maschera, Do Carlo in Ernani (Verdi), Wolfram in Tannhauser (Wagner), Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights (Herman), Amfortas and Klingsor in the same evening in Parsifal (Wagner) and others which he has performed at the Salzburg Festival, Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the opera houses of Berlin, Vienna, San Francisco, Munich, Paris, Chicago, Frankfurt, Dresden, Turin, Koln and others.
