    Simon Lima Holdsworth, set designer, was born in England. His numerous opera credits include, Rigoletto (Verdi), Jephtha, Alcina, Semele (Handel), Die Zauberflote, Don Giovanni (Mozart), Tosca, La boheme (Puccini), Carmen (Bizet), Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss), Aida (Verdi), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Bitten), Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck), L’elisir d’amore (Donizetti), Benvenuto Cellini (Berlioz), Die fliegende Hollander (Wagner) and many others as well as for the plays Frankenstein, Tis Pity She’s a Whore, Richard II, Dracula and others. He works at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the opera houses of Shanghai, Magdeburg, Beijing, Belfast, Trier, Augsburg, Munster, Amsterdam, St. Gallen, Salzburg, Buxton and others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
