Gidron Ido, movement designer
Gidron Ido, movement designer
Ido Gidron, movement designer. Born in Israel. He is an independent performance artist, dancer, choreographer and instructor of Gaga. He graduated from the Academy for Music and Dance in Jerusalem and served in the IDF as an “outstanding performer”, while dancing for KCDC and Batsheva Dance Company. He has worked with choreographers like Sidi Larbi Cherckaoui, Arkadi Zaides, Idan Sharabi, Elad Schechter, Sharon Vazanna, Itzik Galili and others. He was a guest dancer with the Norwegian National Ballet and an artist in residence at Kennesaw State University, at Gothenburg Danskompani, Wee Dance Company, Henny Jurriens Studios, FabrikPotsdam and more. He received the Pais and Yotzrim Grant in 2020 and 2023. Currently, he is creating works and teaches workshops for international programs and companies worldwide.
