    Shira Patchornik, soprano, was born in Israel. Her repertoire includes Pamina in Die Zauberflote, Servilia in La clemenza di Tito, Zerlina in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Micaela in Carmen (Bizet), the Second Niece in Peter Grimes (Britten), Musetta in La boheme (Puccini), Valencienne in Die lustige Witwe (Lehar), Morgana in Alcina (Handel), Karolka in Jenufa (Janacek), Oscar in Un ballo in maschera (Verdi) and others. She performed at the opera houses of Wiesbaden, Bregenz, Nancy, Heidelberg, Dusseldorf, Leipzig and others. At the Israeli Opera she performed Flora in The Turn of the Screw (Britten), the Shepheard Boy in Tosca (Puccini) and the Young Vixen in The Cunning Little Vixen (Janacek).
