Michal Okon, conductor of Meitar Choir Rehovot, was born in Israel. She performs extensively as a soloist with many orchestra and ensembles in Israel and abroad in a wide repertoire ranging from the Baroque through classical and romantic music to contemporary Israeli works. She is a graduate of the Jerusalem Rubin Academy of Music and Dance and has a Masters degree from the Security and Diplomacy program of the Tel Aviv University. She received the AICF scholarships. She is the conductor and music director of the Meitar Choir Rehovot.
