Attila Jun, bass, was born in South Korea. His repertoire includes Ramfis in Aida, Filippo II and the Grand Inquisitor in Don Carlo, Wurm in Luisa Miller, Sparafucile in Rigoletto (Verdi), Daland in Der fliegende Hollander, Gurnemanz and Titurel in Parsifal, Fafner and Fasolt in Das Rheingold, Hundig in Die Walkure, Hagen in Gotterdammerung, King Mark in Tristan und Isolde (Wagner), the Commendatore in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Rocco in Fidelio (Beethoven), Oroveso in Norma (Bellini), Timur in Turandot (Puccini) and others. He performs at La Scala in Milan, the Vienna Staatsoper and in the opera houses of Stuttgart, Bayreuth, Barcelona, Mannheim, Lyon, Munich, Hamburg, Beijing, Venice, Strasbourg, Antwerp, San Francisco, Madrid, Copenhagen, Firenze, Berlin and others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
