Cameron Shahbazi, counter tenor, was born in Canada. His repertoire includes Tolomeo in Giulio Cesare in Egitto, the title role in Tolomeo, re d’Egitto (Handel), ), Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Britten), The Boy/Angel 1 in Written on Skin (Benjamin), Guildenstern in Hamlet (Dean), the title role in Il Giasone (Cavalli), and others. He has appeared in the opera houses on Amsterdam, Koln, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe, Moscow, Aachen and others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
