Aleksei Isaev, baritone, was born in Russia. His repertoire includes Renato in Un ballo in maschera, Iago in Otello, Di Luna in Il trovatore, the title role in Nabucco (Verdi), Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti), the title role in The Demon (Rubinstein), the title role in Aleko (Rachmaninoff), Scarpia in Tosca (Puccini), Escamillo in Carmen (Bizet) and others. He appears at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and in the opera houses of Dresden, Tallin, Wiesbaden, Bordeaux, Moscow, Helsinki, Toulouse and others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
