Boris Stetka, associate director, was born in Croatia. He has studied directing at the school of the Piccolo Teatro and in La Scala in Milan. He has directed in major Italian theatre companies and opera houses as well as for the opera houses in Paris, Vienna, Seville, Sao Paolo, Seoul, Beijing, Chicago and others. He is also a playwright and an author of books, short stories and novels. In 1994 he opened a restaurant in Borrego Spring, California which was highly praised by the New York Times.
