Paule Constable, lighting designer, was born in Great Britain. She designs for opera, theatre and dance in London’s the West End, New York’s Broadway and theatre companies and opera houses in the UK and abroad including the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Glyndebourne, ENO, Opera North, the Metropolitan Opera in New York and others. She is a Royal Designer for Industry, an Associate Director of the National Theatre, and an Associate of the Lyric Hammersmith and Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures.  She has many awards for her work including 5 Olivier Awards and two Tony Awards. Her numerous theatre work includes Les Misérables, Oliver, Warhorse, Wolf Hall, and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.
