Laurent Castaingt, lighting designer, was born in France. For over 20 years he has designed lighting for opera and theatre productions as well as for special projects and exhibitions in France and all over the world. His opera credits include The Rake's Progress (Stravinsky), Konig Kandaules (Zemlinsky), La bohème (Puccini), La traviata (Verdi), La Cenerentola (Rossini), The Rape of Lucretia, The Turn of the Screw (Britten), Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss), Postcards from Morocco (Argento), Transformations (Suza) and many other productions. He has received several Moliere Awards in France for his work.
