Abigail Sandler, director, was born in the USA and grew up in Israel. She worked as an assistant director on Yevgeny Onegin (Tchaikovsky) in the Santa Fe Opera and on Die Zauberflote (Mozart) in the Des Moines Opera. At the Israeli Opera she worked as an assistant director on numerous productions with directors such as Alessandro Talevi, Stefano Poda, Pier Francesco Maestrini, Jean-Claude Auvray, Michiko Taguchi, Stefano Mazzonis di Pralafera, Tomer Zvulun, Julien Lubek and Cecile Roussat, Javier Ulacia, Shirit Lee Weiss and others. She worked and an assistant director and producer of opera productions with many orchestra and ensemble in Israel. She is the producer and director of the Israeli Opera’s Saturday morning concert series. She was the revival director of the Israeli Opera community productions of the Magic Flute (Mozart).
