Charles Workman, tenor, was born in the USA. His repertoire includes the title role in Idomeneo and in La clemenza di Tito (Mozart), Alwa in Lulu (Berg), Boris in Kata Kabanova, Albert Gregor in The Makropulos Case (Janacek), the title role in Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria (Monteverdi), the title role in La Damnation de Faust (Berlioz), the title role in Der Zwerg (Zemlinsky), Erik in Der fliegende Hollander (Wagner), the title role in Palestrina (Pfitzner), Flamand in Capriccio (R. Strauss) and others. He performs at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, La Scala in Milan, the Vienna Staatsoper and in the opera houses of Paris, Moscow, Madrid, Barcelona, Berlin, Venice, Zurich, Munich and others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
