Korman Michal, cello
Michal Korman, cello, was born in Israel. She graduated from the Jerusalem Music Center outstanding young musicians program, and completed her studies at the Juilliard School of Music in New York. She performed as soloist with leading orchestras in Israel and abroad including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Zubin Mehta, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tivoli Orchestra in Copenhagen, the Peru Symphony Orchestra, the Juilliard Orchestra and others. She is a founding member of the Israeli Chamber Project and has participated as a chamber musician in numerous concerts and festivals in the USA, Europe and South America including the festivals of Verbier, Manchester, Marlboro and many others. She performs regularly in recitals and chamber music concerts in Israel and abroad including in Carnegie Hall in New York. She collaborated with the Orpheus Orchestra in New York. She was a member of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra of Daniel Barenboim. She teaches in workshops and masterclasses in Israel and abroad.
