Chen Holtzman, mezzo soprano, was born in Israel. She graduated from the Buchman-Mehta School of Music at the Tel Aviv University. Her repertoire includes Nerone in L’incoronazione di Poppea (Monteverdi), Orlovsky in Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss), Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Flora in The Medium (Menotti), the Mother and the Black Cat in L’enfant et les sortileges (Ravel) and other roles. She received the AICF scholarship. Chen Holtzman was a member of the Israeli Opera's Meitar Opera Studio where her repertoire included Cain in Il primo omicidio (Alessandro Scarlatti), Third Lady in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), Hansel in Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck) and other roles.
