    Yonatan Cnaan, composer, was born in Israel. He is a composer, arranger and conductor who writes above all musical works for the lyric stage. He graduated from the Buchman Mehta School of Music at the Tel Aviv University and from the College Conservatory of Music at the Cincinnati University. He wrote the musicals The Race to Space of Greta Gagarin and Star of Izmir for the Israeli Music Festival in Bat Yam. He wrote the musical Sacrifices for a Broadway presentation, composed music for Kapara at the Habimah National Theatre, composed the show Songs in Ashdodish and many other works. He also wrote music for commercials and was the music producer of Ronit Shachar’s album, Kol Haolam. He won many scholarships and awards including The Israeli Prime Minister prize for composers and the AKUM prize.
