    Yossi Ben Nun, composer, was born in Israel. He has performed as a pianist soloist with most Israeli orchestras including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. He graduated from the Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris and the Manhattan School of Music in New York. He was music director and conductor of productions of many musicals including The Producers, Fiddler on the Roof, Yentel, Kasablan, My Fair Lady, Evita, Les Miserables and many others.  He composed music for numerous theatre productions for all leading Israeli theatre companies including Nora, As You Like It, Hamlet, Ghetto, Yerma, A Month in the Country, Anna Karenina, Three Sisters, The Rebels, Mikve, A Streetcar Named Desire, Uncle Vanya, Horses on the Freeway, Black Box and many others including many shows by Hanoch Levin. He has won many prizes including the Akum and Margalit awards for theatre music. He has founded the Israel Theatre Orchestra for which he crated together with Dror Keren the show Ichel and Romanzka based on a text by Hanoch Levin.
