Pichler Otto, choreographer
Otto Pichler, choreographer, was born in Austria. He created choreography for many opera productions including Der Ring des Nibelungen (Wagner), Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss), Turandot (Puccini), War and Peace (Prokofiev), L’elisir d’amore (Donizetti), Orfeo ed Euridice (Gluck), Saul, Ezio (Handel), Carmen (Bizet), Prince Igor (Borodin), Mitridate re di Ponto (Mozart), La forza del destino (Verdi) and others for the opera houses of Dresden, Koln, Wiesbaden, Salzburg, Amsterdam, Glyndebourne, Munich and others. He has also directed the musicals Hello Dolly, Jekyll and Hyde, Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story and others.
