Polzin Aelxander, set designer
Aelxander Polzin, set designer, was born in Germany. He is a sculptor, painter, designer and director whose works are exhibited in major museums and exhibitions all over the world including in Los Angeles, Paris, New York, Naples, Berlin, St. Petersburg and many others. His public sculptors include Socartes at the Tel Aviv University, The Fallen Angel in Zurich, The Couple for the foyer of the Bastille Opera in Paris and others. He designed numerous theatre, dance and opera productions including Lohengrin, Parsifal, Tristan und Isolde (Wagner), Peer Gynt (Grieg) and a staged version of The Age of Anxiety (Bernstein) in opera houses in Madrid, Salzburg, Beijing, Aarhus, Bergen and others. He directed productions of Fidelio (Beethoven), Iphigenie en Tauride (Gluck), Falstaff (Verdi) and others.
