Marc Piollet, conductor, was born in France. His opera repertoire includes La Damnation de Faust (Berlioz), Tristan und Isolde, Lohengrin, Der fliegende Hollander (Wagner), Don Giovanni, Idomeneo (Mozart), La Wally (Catalani), Les Contes d’Hoffmann (Offenbach), Duke Bluebeard’s castle (Bartok), Don Quichotte (Massenet), Elektra (R. Strauss), Fidelio (Beethoven), Lulu (Berg), Tosca, La boheme (Puccini), Don Carlo (Verdi), Carmen (Bizet), Jenufa (Janacek), Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini) and others. He conducts at the opera houses of Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Stuttgart, Buenos Aires, Vienna, Barcelona, Madrid, Antwerp, Dusseldorf and others. He also conducts symphonic orchestras worldwide. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
