    Gevorg Hakobyan, baritone, was born in Armenia. His repertoire includes Tomsky in Pique Dam, Ibn-Hakia in Iolanta (Tchaikovsky), Alfio in Cavalleria rusticana (Mascagni), the leading role and Paolo in Simon Boccanegra, the leading role in Nabucco, Amonasro in Aida, Carlo in La forza del destino, Renato in Un ballo in maschera (Verdi), Scarpia in Tosca (Puccini), Gerard in Andrea Chenier (Giordano), Gryaznoy in The Tsar’s Bride (Rimsky-Korsakov), Tonio in Pagliacci (Leoncavallo) and others. He performs in the opera houses of Rome, Turin, Moscow, Frankfurt, Valencia, Genoa, St. Petersburg, Stuttgart, Kiel, Bologna and others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
