Arad Ido, conductor
Ido Arad, conductor, was born in Israel. He recently made his debut at the Vienna Volksoper and conducted Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini) in Berin's Staatsoper. His operatic career also includes Carmen (Bizet), Die Zauberflöte (Mozart), Un ballo in maschera, Don Carlo, La traviata (Verdi) and Les Huguenots (Meyerbeer) at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Salome (R. Strauss) at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Le Nozze di Figaro (Mozart) at the Semperoper Dresden, Oberon (Weber) at the Salzburger Landestheater and many others. Aside from his operatic career Ido Arad conducted various symphonic concerts and ballet performances, among them, Romeo e Juliette and The Nutcracker (Prokofiev) in Palermo and Berlin, The Rite of Spring and Petrushka (Stravinsky) in Berlin and more.
