Aile Asszonyi, soprano, was born in Estonia. Her repertoire includes Venus and Elisabeth in Tannhauser, Senta in Der fliegende Hollander, the Third Norn and Gutrune in Gotterdammerung (Wagner), the Mother in Il prigioniero (Dallapiccola), the leading role in Aida, Abigaille in Nabucco (Verdi), Lisa in Pique Dam (Tchaikovsky), the leading role in Fidelio (Beethoven), Fata Morgana in L’amour des Trois Oranges (Prokofiev) and others. She performs in the opera houses of Estonia, Vienna, Moscow, Zagreb, Riga, Vilnius, Graz, Regensburg, Bonn, Amsterdam and others. This is her Israeli Opera debut.
