Suzanne Andrade, director, was born in Germany. She is the co-founder and co-artistic director of 1927, a company that integrates performance, music and animation to create ground breaking theatre. She co-conceived and co-directed this production of Die Zauberflote (Mozart) with Barrie Kosky which premiered at the Komische Oper Berlin and then performed in opera houses all over the world.
