Markus Suihkonen, bass, was born in Finland. His repertoire includes Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro, the Commendatore in Don Giovanni, Publio in La clemenza di Titto (Mozart), Pistola in Falstaff (Verdi), the Baron in The Gambler (Prokofiev), King Rene in Iolanta (Tchaikovsky), Lesbo in Agrippina (Handel) and others. He performs in the opera houses of Munich, Liege, Antwerp, Savonlinna and others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
