Beate Ritter, soprano, was born in Austria. Her repertoire includes Olympia in Les Contes d’Hoffmann (Offenbach), Gilda in Rigoletto (Verdi), the title role in Lakme (Delibes), Zerbinetta in Ariadne auf Naxos (R. Strauss), Norina in Don Pasquale (Donizetti), Musetta in La boheme (Puccini), Adele in Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss) and others. She performs in the opera houses of Vienna, Lausanne, Stuttgart, Dusseldorf, Malmo, Glyndebourne, Lyon, Leipzig and others.
