Joel Alexander, conductor
Alexander Joel, conductor, was born in England. His vast opera repertoire includes Luisa Miller, Macbeth, Rigoletto, Il trovatore (Verdi), La boheme, Tosca, Manon Lescaut, Madama Butterfly (Puccini), Carmen (Bizet), Salome, Der Rosenkavalier (R. Strauss), Lohengrin, Tristan und Isolde, Parsifal (Wagner) and many others. He conducts regularly at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London and in the opera houses of Vienna, Wiesbaden, Berlin, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Geneva, Dresden, Munich, Helsinki, Tokyo, Oslo, Koln, Santiago di Chile, Boston and many others. He also leads numerous symphonic orchestras in concerts all over the world. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
