David Leigh, bass, was born in the USA. His repertoire includes Gremin in Yevgeni Onegin (Tchaikovsky), the Commendatore in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Timur in Turandot, Colline in La boheme (Puccini), Sparafucile in Rigoletto (Verdi), King Mark in Tristan und Isolde, Fafner in Siegfried (Wagner) and others. He performs at the Metropolitan Opera in New York and in the opera houses of Seattle, Michigan, Austin, Dallas, Santa Fe, San Francisco, Toronto, Moscow, Aix-en-Provence, Luxembourg and others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
