Simona Mihai, soprano, was born in Romania. Her repertoire includes Giulietta in Les Contes d’Hoffmann (Offenbach), Nedda in Pagliacci (Leoncavallo), Mimi and Musetta in La boheme (Puccini), the Countess in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), the Governess in The Turn of the Screw, the Second Niece in Peter Grimes (Britten), Adina in L’elisir d’amore (Donizetti) and others. She performs at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, La Scala in Milano and in the opera houses of Munich, Vienna, Brussels, Palermo, Santiago de Chile and others. This is her Israeli Opera debut.
