    Heinz Noam, baritone

    Noam Heinz, baritone, was born in Israel. He graduated from the Buchman-Mehta School of Music at the Tel Aviv University. His repertoire includes Gasparo in Rita (Donizetti), Aeneas in Dido and Aeneas (Purcell), Masetto in Don Giovanni, Papageno in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), Sabo in Die Klassische Witwe (Offenbach), Bob in The Old Maid and the Thief (Menotti), the Captain and the Rogue in Candide (Bernstein), the First and Second Monk in Albert (Zorman) and others. He performed as a soloist with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, The Ramat Gan chamber Orchestra and others. He received the AICF, Ronen, Leon Nacht and Eli Leon scholarships. Noam Heinz was a member of the Israeli Opera's Meitar Opera Studio where his repertoire included Papageno in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), Nick Shadow in The Rake’s Progress (Stravinsky), the Father in Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck), Belcore in L’elisir d’amore (Donizetti), Dandini in La Cenerentola (Rossini), Giove in La Calsito (Cavalli), Piana incantate in La liberazione di Ruggiero (Francesca Caccini) and others. At the Israeli Opera he performed the Young Brother in Dead Man Walking (Heggie), the Mad Hatter and the Caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland (Sebba) and a Man from Crete in Idomeneo (Mozart).
