Was born in Italy. His repertoire includes Amonasro in Aida, Germont in La traviata, the title role in Macbeth, Rigoletto, Nabucco, Simone Boccanegra, Di Luna in Il trovatore, Rodrigo in Don Carlo, Renato in Un ballo in maschera, Iago in Otello (Verdi),  Alfio in Cavalleria rusticana (Mascagni), Sharpless in Madama Butterfly (Puccini), Tonio in Pagliacci (Leoncavallo), Scarpia in Tosca (Puccini) and many others. He performs regularly at the Vienna Staatsoper, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Arena di Verona, Deutsche Oper Berlin and the opera houses of Roma, Macerata, Florence, Bologna, Turin, Venice and others.
