Johannes Von Duisburg was born in Germany. His wide repertoire includes Telramund in Lohengrin, the title role in Der fliegende Hollander, Wotan and the Wanderer in Der Ring des Nibelungen (Wagner), Amonasro in Aida (Verdi), Claggart in Billy Budd (Britten), Escamillo in Carmen (Bizet), Sarastro in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), Don Pizarro in Fidelio (Beethoven), Scarpia in Tosca (Puccini) and many others. He performs regularly at the opera houses of Naples, Barcelona, Roma, Trieste, Koln, Tokyo, Geneva, Lisbon, Florence, Cagliari, Bologna, Moscow, Prague, Strasbourg and the Festivals of Wexford and Bregenz.
