    Krichelli Simon, tenor

    Simon Krichelli, tenor, was born in Georgia and immigrated to Israel in 1990. He studied in a college for circus arts in his native land as well as playing the piano and the saxophone. Since immigrating to Israel he has appeared in several productions at the Cameri Theatre including A Family Story, The Enemy of the People, Requiem, Donna Rosita as Was it a Dream. In 2001 he began studying voice in Italy and has appeared in numerous concerts all over Italy. He appeared as soloists in concerts with all leading Israeli orchestras including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, The Haifa Symphony Orchestra, The Raanana Symphonette, the Israel Chamber Orchestra and others. He also appears regularly at the Abu Gosh Festival and in Israeli Opera concerts. At the Israeli Opera he participated in the world premiere of A Journey to the End of the Millennium (Bardanashvili) and performed Eisenstein in the Opera Studio production of Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss).
