Trelinski Mariusz, director
Mariusz Trelinski was born in Poland. He has directed opera, theater and film productions. During the 2005/2006 he held the post of artistic director of Polish National Opera. Among his many his opera productions are Otello (Verdi), Yevgeny Onegin (Tchaikovsky), Andrea Chénier (Giordano), Pique Dame (Tchaikovsky), La bohème (Puccini) and others at the Polish National Opera, Washington National Opera, the Los Angeles Opera, the Mariinsky Theater St. Petersburg, Wrocław Opera and others. He was awarded with Karol Szymanowski Award for his direction of the composer's King Roger, he also won “Polityka” weekly Passport Award for his modern, intelligent stagings of operas that speak to contemporary viewers.
