Kol Bracha, mezzo-soprano
Kol Bracha, mezzo-soprano
Bracha Kol, mezzo soprano, was born in Israel. She regularly performs opera, Lied and oratorio. Her concert repertoire ranges from early music to contemporary works. With the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra led by Maestro Zubin Mehta she sang Flora in La Traviata (Verdi) and the mezzo-soprano solo at the Israeli premiere of Requiem Ebraico (Zeisl). In May 2008 she made her debut at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and the role of Mercedes in Carmen (Bizet) conducted by Maestro Mehta, directed by Carlos Saura. She recieved the IVAI and AICF scholarships.
