Was born in Romania. He regularly sings in major opera houses including Stuttgart, Seattle, Rome, Hamburg, Berlin, Barcelona, Zurich, Milan, Torino, the Vienna Staatsoper and others. His repertoire includes Tristan in Tristan and Isolde (Wagner) and the title role in Peter Grimes (Britten).
