Was born in the USA. He has collaborated with Giancarlo del Monaco in numerous productions, among them La forza del destino (Verdi), Simon Boccanegra (Verdi), Samson et Dalila (Saint- Saëns) and Falstaff (Verdi) in opera houses such as Vienna, Berlin, Washington, Nice and the Metropolitan in New York. He also designed more than 20 Ballets by Youri Vámos. At the Israeli opera he designed set & costumes for Andrea Chénier (Giordano) and La fanciulla del West (Puccini).
