Tebbutt Robin, director
Robin Tebbutt, director, was born in Great Britain. He was a staff director for Welsh National Opera for 15 years where he directed revivals of Rigoletto, La traviata (Verdi), Cavalleria rusticana (Mascagni), Pagliacci (Leoncavallo), Beatrice et Benedict (Berlioz), Carmen (Bizet), Cosi fan tutte (Mozart) and Madama Butterfly (Puccini). He also revived David Pountney’s productions of Simon Boccanegra (Verdi) in Prague, Guillaume Tell (Rossini) in Warsaw and Geneva and Figaro Gets a Divorce (Langer) in Poznan. He directed Il matrimonio segreto (Cimarosa) and other operas.
