Levita Yael, soprano
Yael Levita, soprano, was born in Israel. She performed as a soloist with the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion, the Haifa Symphony Orchestra, the Raanana Symphonette Orchestra, the Israel Chamber Orchestra, the Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra and others. Her repertoire includes Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier (R. Strauss), Pamina and Papagena in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), Blonde in Die Entfhurung aus dem Serail (Mozart), Nanetta in Falstaff (Verdi), Olympia in Les Contes d’Hoffmann (Offenbach), Belinda in Dido and Aeneas (Purcell) and others. She received the IACF scholarships. At the Nordharz Opera in Germany she performed Adele in Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss), Annchen in Der Freischutz (Weber), the Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflote (Mozart) and Stasi in The Czardas Princess (Kalman). She was a member of the Israeli Opera’s Opera Studio, where her repertoire included Pamina in Die Zauberflote (Mozart) and Gretel in Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck).
