Julia Alexeeva was born in the Ukraine. Her repertoire includes Manon in Manon Lescaut, the title role in Tosca and in Madama Butterfly (Puccini), Amelia in Un ballo in maschera, Leonora in Il trovatore, Leonora in La forza del destino, the title role in Aida (Verdi), Tatyana in Yevgeni Onegin, Lisa in Pique Dam, the title role in Iolanta (Tchaikovsky), Zemfira in Aleko (Rachmaninoff) and others. She performs in the opera houses of Mannheim, Riga, St. Petersburg, Malmo, the Ukraine and others.
